Currently, Kent is employed and teaches at the UNM Championship Golf Course. He has over 20 years experience as a teaching professional. The last 4 years, Kent has been cruising the Caribbean and Mexican Riviera as an onboard Golf Professional for Carnival and Princess Cruise Lines. His lessons employ what is now known as "bio-metric" techniques - taking advantage of how a player's body is built rather than how effective muscles react. Kent's instructions are well communicated and easy to understand and implement. He focuses on consistent routine and proper techniques to create crisper ball contact, better accuracy and more distance. Kent's lessons are tailored to the areas where the student needs the most improvement including basic instruction for beginners, identification of minor swing flaws for accomplished players, chipping and putting as well as course management and the mental game.
